Informazione sull'Invasione:
Museum Marathon Berlin is a sponsored walk around Berlin taking place on Saturday, April 26th, passing 26 different museums on route (26 museums for the 26 miles in a marathon). We’ll stop briefly at each museum to take a photo proving we’ve been there, before heading on to the next one. It will be a whole day of non stop walking – and talking – museums. The plan is to start at 10am and finish around 6pm. The route has not yet been finalised, but will take around 12-16 miles (20-25 kilometres). As well as being good fun and an exciting challenge, we’ll be doing it to raise money for the project “Tausendundeine Rampe für Deutschland” (1001 Ramps for Germany), which aims to provides ramps to shops and venues that are unaccessible to wheelchair users, walking frames and prams. Since accessibility is a topic that concerns museums too, we thought it was an appropriate choice. You can find out more about the cause here.
Parallelly, we will be participating and supporting #digitalinvasions by tweeting and posting from two of the venues we will be visiting, that is: Berlin’s Naturkundemuseum (museum for nature and science) at 10.30, as well as DDR Museum at 12.00.
