HISTORY MUSEUM OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
The doors of History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina are open! Ex Museum of Museum of Revolution of B&H, in 1993 was renamed in History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Museum is performing its fundamental social and cultural purpose with researching and collecting of museum material relating to all periods of history of B&H. All museum material is organized in six museum collections: Collection of Archive documents, Collection of Photographs, Collection of three – dimensional objects, Collection of art works, Library and Documentation center. Today, museum works in very difficult material situation, although there are plenty things to see: Besieged Sarajevo, A day exhibition, Jim Marshalls exhibition Shelter, Jim Marshalls exhibition 15 years, drawings by Jasmin Pehlivanovi? in exhibition Is that a human being. The building of History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina is unique example of modern architecture, a piece of art that you will enjoy for sure! Come and visit us!
