Join the first Digital Invasion of Sydney! Take part in an open, welcoming and innovative approach to museums and culture. Join a mob of people who support local museums and heritage by invading them and documenting the experience on their social media accounts.
The group will experience tours at 2 museums on Saturday, 3 May, including:
– the permanent collections at the Museum of Contemporary Art, and
– the Lucy Osburn/Nightingale Foundation Museum (entry $5).
Well hear about these collections from museum staff, promote them live on our social media accounts and amplify their social media initiatives.
The adventure will commence at 1.15pm and conclude by 4.15pm. A detailed timetable and information for meeting on the day will be forwarded to all registered participants in advance. Tickets on Eventbrite are free but you will need to bring $5 on the day for entry to the Lucy Osburn/Nightingale Foundation Museum.
Bring your smartphone, comfortable shoes, a hat or an umbrella (be sure to check the weather on the day) and your enthusiasm for Sydneys museums! Please use #digitalinvasions when sharing your involvement in this activity.
